My last post here was back in January, so it’s been a while and let’s just say life hasn’t slowed down since then. In fact, it’s been quite the whirlwind!

But before we dive in, let’s address the elephant in the room (or rather, the giraffe): there’s been a bit of a shift in my professional landscape. Remember Winvision, where I held the CTO reins for a good while? Well, as of September 1st, 2023, things changed. Winvision merged with Previder, its sister company under the Odin Group umbrella.
While I’m no longer Winvision’s CTO, this exciting change brought a new opportunity my way: Portfolio Manager in Previder’s portfolio management team, specifically focusing on our AI & Cybersecurity propositions.
New episodes of two tech podcasts
Now, onto the fun stuff! While my professional life has seen some exciting changes, the tech world hasn’t stopped spinning. Technosoof, the podcast production crew with my co-host Ronald, has been churning out new episodes all year long. Head over to the Technosoof yearly archive to catch up on all the discussions we’ve had (more than a dozen already) including an exclusive interview with Microsoft EMEA’s lead of Teams Rooms: Michel Bouman.

Family travels near and far
Looking beyond work and tech, I also had some amazing personal experiences this year. We took a fantastic family vacation to Poland, exploring the vibrant cities of Warsaw and Krakau. And for those weekend getaways? Who knew the Netherlands could offer such an adventure! We embarked on a safari right here in our own backyard, at Beekse Bergen. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most captivating experiences are closer than we think, with giraffes strolling by just a yard away!
